JKS Restaurant Group, a creative and unique collection of venues, invited the team for an evening of entertainment at one of their flagship restaurants, Bubbledogs. The unusual concept is clearly defined by its name, bubbles and hotdogs, a mismatch couple that actually works a treat. Champagne and hot dogs – what’s not to like!
Greeted by a very jolly ‘Hotdog Man’, they had us from hello! Wooden floors, high top tables and stylish lighting created a cosy, American style atmosphere. Our favourite accessories were a collection of wacky googly-eyed sausage dog artwork- we want one for the office!
This intimate space offers a range of options for a private party from exclusive to smaller affairs. When exploring the restaurant further, we were told about one of the venue’s hidden gems, a private chef’s table. With a seated capacity of 19, the room allows guests to experience mysterious ‘named on the night’ menus. Sourced from local suppliers and with their very own Michelin star chef this Kitchen Table has it all and anyone who hired it would have a lot of fun.

Our champagne glasses were continually topped up as the venue circulated generous basketfuls of American styled snacks including gourmet hotdogs, corndogs (a new taste for me) and endless sweet potato fries – oh did we indulge! Our favourite would have to be crispy bacon, caramelised lettuce and truffle mayo packed dog, AKA the ‘BLT’.
